What is the Singapore FinTech Festival Landing Pad?

The Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) is more than just an event; it is the heartbeat of the global financial technology ecosystem. For Australian innovators, it represents a premier gateway to Southeast Asia. However, navigating a festival of this scale—with tens of thousands of attendees—requires more than just a pass; it requires a strategic roadmap.

In November 2025, VentureSEA was proud to serve as the co-delivery partner for the Austrade SFF Landing Pad Program. Working alongside Austrade and InvestNSW, we transformed the energy of the world’s largest fintech festival into a structured, high-impact commercial bridge for 22 of Australia’s most promising technology companies.

How did VentureSEA prepare Australian companies before SFF?

Our mission was to ensure that the Australian delegation—featuring leaders in digital identity, cybersecurity, and ESG tech—didn’t just “attend” SFF, but truly engaged with it. We focused on delivering a high-touch experience that combined deep market preparation with precision-matched introductions.

Strategic Preparation

Preparation began well before the festival opened.

  • Conducted tailored 1-on-1 briefings with each participating company

  • Defined clear positioning within Singapore’s regulatory and enterprise buying environment

  • Aligned solutions with regional priorities in digital banking, compliance, and cross-border infrastructure

We didn’t just discuss “who” they wanted to meet, but “how” to position their solutions within the specific regulatory and enterprise buying dynamics of Singapore and the wider region.

Sector Diversity

The delegation reflected the breadth of modern fintech, including:

  • Payments & Remittance: Hello Clever, EzyRemit

  • Secure Engineering & Cybersecurity: SecDim

  • Data, Risk & Compliance: DataZoo, Nuix

  • ESG & Sustainability Tech

How was business matching executed at scale during SFF?

Between November 12th and 14th, the Australian booth became a hub of focused commercial activity. VentureSEA managed a continuous, multi-day schedule of parallel business matching sessions, ensuring a seamless flow for both delegates and regional stakeholders.

We were honored to facilitate connections with 22 regional organizations, spanning the “Who’s Who” of the ASEAN financial landscape:

  • The Banking Giants: Engaging with teams from UOB, HSBC, RCBC, and Malaysia’s AEON Bank.

  • Regional Platforms: Deep-dives with high-growth players like Xendit, PayMongo, GoTo Group, and StraitsX.

  • Enterprise & Advisors: Strategic sessions with Carousell, Petra Energy, and specialist compliance firms like Bayfront Law.

By creating a structured environment amidst the festival’s buzz, we enabled our delegates to focus on what they do best: building the future of finance.

What outcomes emerged from the 2025 SFF Landing Pad?

The true value of a Landing Pad is found in the conversations that continue long after the booths are packed away. The 2025 program resulted in over 60 curated sessions, leading to:

  • Digital Banking Partnerships: Aligning Australian tech with the infrastructure needs of Southeast Asia’s newest digital banks.

  • Cross-Border Infrastructure: Exploring new corridors for payments and real-time settlement.

  • Sustainable Tech Integration: Opening doors for ESG and sustainability solutions within regional energy and enterprise sectors.

For those stakeholders we couldn’t meet in person due to the festival’s hectic pace, VentureSEA facilitated virtual introductions to ensure no opportunity was left unexplored.
